World Cup Final 2019: Mission accomplished for our 4 Musketeers in Gothenburg
As from the first final, our 4 ambassadors of this World Cup Final (a historical first for the SBS) expressed their ambition by bringing their riders to great rankings, particularly for three of them: (CASANOVA DE L’HERSE, DELUX VAN T&L and H&M ALL-IN)
As authorized by the competition’s regulations, Peder Fredricson (SWE) and François Mathy Jr. (BEL) both opted for their second horse for the rest of the competition. American rider Eve Jobs continued with her faithful VENUE D’FÉES DES HAZALLES (E.O.) (President/Alcatraz – breeder: D. Lamette in B-6940 Barvaux-sur-Ourthe) to the honours of the final, while Niels Bruynseels (BEL) relied on DELUX VAN T&L (Toulon/Landetto – breeder: L. Tilleman & L. Van de Vijver in B-9180 Moerbeke-Waas) right to the end, finishing with a praiseworthy 5th place in the overall classification.
Steve Guerdat, the Swiss Olympic champion and two-time World Cup Final winner, did not quake and his double-clear allowed him to join the very select club of the three-time World Cup winners (of whom R. Pessoa, L. Beerbaum and H. Simon).
Congratulations again to our brilliant ambassadors!
